For BSc:

  • A minimum CGPA of 3.0 to 3.5 out of 5.0 is required, which is equivalent to 60–70% on the HSC test.
  • English language proficiency: TOEFL 78-80 overall, PTE 58-61 overall, IELTS 6.0-6.5 overall, with no band lower than 5.5, etc.
  • Subject-specific requirements: Preference may be given to disciplines related to mathematics and computing.

For MSc:

  • The minimum CGPA varies by university and ranges from 2.75 to 3.3 out of 4.0.
  • Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, and UCL are among the top universities that require a 3.5+ out of 4.0 or First Class (70% or higher).
  • Academic Background: A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in each band), TOEFL score of 87-90 overall, or PTE score of 62 overall (minimum 59 in each component) indicate competency in the English language.
  • BSc: BSc: £16,000 – £35,000 per year (varies by institution).
