Ulster University provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in business, management, marketing, accounting, and leadership, among other subjects. Students who want to work in business and finance often choose the BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. For students who want to further their knowledge in these areas, the university also offers postgraduate specialized programs in Advanced Clinical Optometry, Applied Behaviour Analysis, and Applied Psychology. Because of their extensive curricula, these courses are highly recognized.

Throughout its campuses, Ulster University provides a variety of options for student housing. The purpose of the accommodations is to give students a comfortable and encouraging environment. For instance, Agherton Village in Coleraine offers apartments near the ocean, while York Street in Belfast offers modern living areas in a convenient location. Every accommodation has a number of facilities, such as Wi-Fi, round-the-clock security, laundry facilities, and communal spaces for mingling. Additionally, there are study spaces and kitchens available to students. Foundation Courses:

  • Alim, who received a 50% overall pass in five courses from the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board in Dhaka.
  • A certificate from a higher secondary school with a 50% overall pass in five subjects.
  • Intermediate Certificate with five topics at 50% overall.
  • Courses in mathematics for life and health sciences, computing, engineering, and the built environment must have a minimum of 50%.

Undergraduate Courses:

  • Achieving a 70% overall grade in the Higher Secondary Certificate.
  • Alim (given by the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, Dhaka) was completed successfully.
  • Earning a minimum of 50% after completing two years of undergraduate study.
  • Achieving a 75% overall grade in the four-year Diploma in Engineering or Agriculture from the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Postgraduate Courses:

  • Candidates for taught programs usually possess a first-degree equivalent to that of the United Kingdom.
  • Excellent grades in four-year bachelor’s degree programs, five-year bachelor’s degrees in medicine and surgery, and master’s degrees.

Math requirements for the GCSE: Alim: B-60% or C-50%.

  • Certificate of Higher Secondary School: B-60% or C-50%.
  • In the third semester or later of a four-year engineering diploma, mathematics was studied at a B-60% or C-50% level.

English Language Entry Requirements:

  • An academic IELTS score of 6.0 is the minimum required for English language entry.
  • If the English language criterion is not fulfilled, a conditional offer is made.

On-Campus Jobs: The UUTemps program provides paid part-time and casual positions at the university.

Opportunities from Outside: Tutoring, retail, and hospitality are examples of off-campus part-time jobs that can be found on Indeed and NIJobs.

Full-Time Jobs: With the Graduate Route visa, which permits them to remain in the nation for an extra two years after graduation, international students can look for full-time work.

Pay: Full-time incomes differ by industry, while part-time positions might pay anywhere from £20 to £40 per hour.

International students with a Tier 4 student visa are permitted to work full-time during breaks and up to 20 hours per week throughout the academic year.
